Five individuals were hurt when a shooter opened fire on the Michigan State University campus on Monday night.

Police at Michigan State University have positively identified two of the victims. The third victim’s identity was kept a secret upon the family’s request.

Brian Fraser, a sophomore, was born and raised in Grosse Pointe, Michigan.

Fraser presided over the Phi Delta Theta chapter at Michigan State University.

“Brian was a fantastic friend to his Phi Delt brothers, the Michigan State Greek community, and other people he encountered on school,” reads a statement from the national chapter of Phi Delta Theta.

Junior from Clawson, Michigan, Alexandria Verner self-identifies as a Verner.

Verner, a member of the Clawson High School class of 2020, was lauded as “a tremendous student, athlete, and leader” in a press release from Clawson Public Schools.

She “exemplified kindness every day of her life,” the school system claimed. Every everyone who knew her adored her, and we will all always treasure our memories of her.

The district asserts that in addition to her parents, Verner had two siblings.
